Lemon Balm: Lemon balm is not only incredibly useful for people suffering from insomnia, but can also help with a cold sore. Furthermore, it is often used for reducing stress, treating anxiety and indigestion. In order to increase its effectiveness as a sleeping aid, we combined it with lavender.

 

Chamomile: Apart from leaving you feeling calm and restful, chamomile is beneficial to your overall health as it has plenty of antioxidants and antimicrobial properties. Active components of the herb specifically relax the nervous and muscular system, which is why chamomile tea may support relaxation and feeling calm.

 

Lavender: In addition to its aromatic scent, lavender can help ease your mind and body and help you fall into a deep relaxing sleep.

 

Passionflower: Besides being used to treat mild sleep irregularities, researchers have found that passionflower may help adults manage anxiety.

How to brew Restful Tea

 

• Place 1-2 teaspoons of loose leaf tea per cup (250ml) in an infuser or teapot and pour over boiling water (100°C)
• Infuse for 5+ minutes depending on your desired strength
• Pour into your favourite cup and experience the moment
• We recommend complementing with a slice of lemon and honey to taste
• Enjoy 1-4 cups daily in between meals to relax and soothe.

 

After finishing your brew, we encourage you to return your steeped herbs back to the earth, for example in your home compost, worm farm or garden waste, allowing it to breakdown into organic matter and return to nourish our environment..

Our loose leaf Restful Tea is not a pure blend, but a herbal infusion. It carries hints of floral sweetness from golden chamomile flowers that cover the spring meadows with a carpet of beautiful blossoms. Lemon balm belongs to the mint family and has a mild taste with a refreshing fragrance. The passionflower and lavender give our Restful Tea its light and airy taste, which is ongoingly popular. Is it safe to drink Restful Tea during pregnancy?

 

Chamomile is a safe and gentle herb for pregnancy, it is used to quell nausea, ease digestion and relieve heartburn. It is naturally high in calcium and magnesium; also helps with sleeplessness by promoting gentle relaxation and a peaceful sleep.

 

Please note: women who have had a miscarriage or spotting during their pregnancy should drink no more than a cup of chamomile tea per day because chamomile is known as a mild emmenagogue.
